Data registration on our website

Server log files

The provider of the web pages captures and saves information automatically in so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted by your browser. Such information includes the following: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The capture and temporary storage of your IP address is necessary to facilitate the provision of our website to your device. For this, your IP address must be stored for the duration of your visit to our website. Storage of the a.m. data in log files ensures the functionality and optimum performance of our website and guarantees the security of our IT systems.

The legal basis for capturing this data is given by Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (f) GDPR (predominantly legitimate interest). The provider has a legitimate interest in the technically faultless presentation and optimization of their website – the server log files must be kept for this purpose.

Use of Google Analytics

Provided you have given your consent, this website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. This service is provided by Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer enabling an analysis of website use. The information generated by the cookies regarding your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby guarantees observation of European data protection laws: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

The legal basis for storing Google Analytics cookies and for using this analytical tool is given by Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR.  Analysis of user habits serves to optimize our website.

We have activated the function IP anonymization on this website.  As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operators of this website in order to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide further services relating to use of the website and internet usage for the website operators. The IP address transmitted from your browser by Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by means of your cookie settings when calling up our website or by a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, please be aware that this may adversely affect your use of all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the data relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) generated by the cookie from being transmitted to and processed by Google by downloading and installing a browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who are engaged in the service and maintenance of our website. In these cases, we have concluded relevant service contracts with the providers.

Data transmitted in the context of establishing contact

If you request information or services from us, you will be asked for personal details on certain pages to enable us to provide the information or services you desire. The personal data transmitted to us in this context will be used exclusively to process such requests. This personal data, which may be communicated to us via the input form or by email, is required for the transmission of information or services as well as to prepare a contract (legal basis given by Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (b) GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 (f) GDPR). While you only need to provide the necessary in order to process your request, the entry of your data is required.

You only need to provide the data required to process your query. The data transmitted in the process of establishing contact with us includes your title, first name, surname, email address and, if applicable, your postal address, which can also be disclosed on a voluntary basis.

Within our company, your data will be sent to the internal departments or organizational units necessary to process your enquiry. The provider will treat the personal data that you provide us via internet or email confidentially. The data will only be passed to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so or we commission a third party to process your enquiry. One example of this is the dispatch of brochures or other informational material. Such third parties only receive the information required to perform their duties. They are not allowed to use the data for other purposes and they are obliged to treat the information in accordance with current data protection provisions. To this end, we sign corresponding confidentiality agreements with each third party and, where applicable, agreements for contract processing. No data will be transmitted to third countries.

We store your data until your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory provisions require longer storage or, on a balance of interests, the provider’s legitimate interest in a longer storage period outweighs other considerations.

If you use the contact form on this website, register for a subscription to the newsletter or call up or transmit information, any data transmission will be SSL encrypted on the internet and protected from any unauthorized access. Emails that you send to us directly are not encrypted. You can find information on sending encrypted emails to us here

The provider explicitly points out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. by email) can contain security loopholes and cannot offer 100% protection against third-party access.

Data submitted in the context of applications

Your personal data is required for the processing of applications and, if applicable, the completion of a work contract. If the applicant does not provide personal data, their application cannot be considered.

For information on data protection regarding the processing of applicant data pursuant to article 13, 14 and 21 of the DSGVO, click here to download the PDF.
